Shipping, Local Delivery and In-store pickup

We strive to ship all orders within 1 business day. If you are looking to have your gift shipment expedited or shipped on a certain date, we strive to help when we can. Just shot us an email to gifts@shopmadeintn.com.

During Peak Holiday Season, orders may not be processed in such an expedited manner.  Please plan on possible delays due to overwhelming volume during the month of December when orders may ship anywhere between 1 and 5 days after ordering.

Orders are typically available for pickup next day (M-F) for in-store pickup. We will send a email to alert you when it is available for pickup. These items are transferred to the store from our fulfillment warehouse after you order.

Except for Peak Holiday Season, orders generally ship AFTER a processing time of 1-2 business days unless delayed delivery date is specified.  The Shipping time indicated at checkout is the time frame for SHIPPING ONLY and does not include the processing time for us to hand procure and hand write notes and package for the shipping carrier. 

During the Holiday peak, both processing and shipping and delivery times can vary.  As of 2020, some shipping providers have been experiencing intermittent delays past their usual timeframes estimated and neither they, nor we, can guarantee shipping transit times.  Our preferred shipping partner is FedEx as we believe them to be the most reliable.  Items going to a local Nashville address can be delivered locally which is the most reliable option.  If you have any questions at all or know something needs to arrive on a specific date, please call or email and ask us for guidance.  

We recommend that when shipping to destinations when the weather is above 75 degrees in Nashville or the destination, that all chocolate is shipped with overnight service.  Made in TN is not responsible for products that experience temperature changes during transit in peak Summer months, but we do ensure everything is packaged as best as possible to keep the products integrity within a 1 ship time. Please contact us with any specific questions or guidance on orders for food that may melt during times of extreme heat.

Willa’s Shortbread cookies are handmade in small batches using only the finest all-natural ingredients, with no preservatives or artificial flavors. However, they are made with wheat flour and are not gluten-free.

Yes, the original goo goo cluster does contain peanuts. Goo Goo Clusters come in three core varieties: Original, Pecan, and Peanut Butter.

- Pecan: Does not contain peanuts, but is produced in the same facility as peanut-containing products

Unopened bottles of hot sauce can last up to two years. Because hot sauce contains vinegar, which helps inhibit bacterial growth, it can be stored at room temperature. For best quality, tightly reseal and refrigerate after opening for up to one year.

We generally ship within 1–3 business days. During the holiday season, carriers like UPS and USPS may experience delays, so transit times cannot be guaranteed. For local addresses, you may also choose local delivery or in-store pickup. Please add notes at checkout or contact us if you need a specific delivery date.

We do not sell or ship alcohol. However, some of our products are alcohol-infused. International shipping availability depends on the destination country’s customs regulations. Please contact us for details based on your final address.

We use secure packaging and tracking for all shipments. For chocolate and other heat sensitive items in temperatures above 75°F, we recommend overnight shipping. Made in TN is not responsible for heat-related changes during transit, but we package to protect product integrity as best as possible which includes insulation and ice packs, but is not packed in dry ice. Local delivery and in-store pickup are recommended during summer where possible.

Food and seasonal items are non-returnable. Non-food, non-seasonal gifts may be returned for store credit with a gift receipt.

We regularly feature new and seasonal products, though we cannot carry every Tennessee-made item. We carefully curate items that are perfect for gifting and fit our customers’ preferences.

Our warehouse is not open to the public except by appointment. You’re welcome to visit our four retail stores across Middle Tennessee.

Yes! Each of our stores offers both pre-made gifts and packaging to build your own. Associates will assist with assembly, remove pricing, and can ship directly from the store if needed.
