Freshness and quality are the cornerstones of Alchemy Spice. Owners Henry and John Oehmig source the highest quality ingredients and always grind and blend in small batches so that every offering is as fresh and delicious as possible. While typical grocery store spices might sit on a shelf for years at a time, Alchemy spice grinds their spices mere minutes before bottling, and ships each bottle within a day or two for maximum freshness. And, when you’re using Alchemy Spice seasonings, you won’t have to worry about hidden additives; Alchemy Spice never uses MSG, flavor-enhancers, or anti-caking agents in their spice blends. Whole, natural, and oh-so-tasty is the name of the game.
Alchemy Spices has been experimenting with flavor since 2003, when the two Oehmig brothers left their corporate careers to purchase their favorite local artisan spice producer. They’ve continued to grow a devoted local fan base in Chattanooga, TN while also growing a regional reputation for quality and flavor. You’ll find Alchemy Spices in signature restaurant dishes around the country. If you’re in the area and want to sample some spices for yourself, stop by their Chattanooga Market on a Saturday and try a sample—you’ll be blown away.
With their commitment to small batches and transcendent flavor, Alchemy Spice sticks to their 27 signature blends. Maybe you’re interested in the Memphis Dry Rub: a delicious combination of big BBQ flavors and cardamom with a peppery heat and sweet brown sugar finish that will take anything from pork shoulder to grilled tofu to the next level. Maybe the Scenic City Sizzle Grilling Pepper Spice is more up your alley, with its peppercorn-based heat that leaps to life at the flame of your grill.
Whether you’re shopping with your own summer cookouts in mind or treating your pal who loves to try new things in the kitchen, Alchemy Spices and seasonings will add depth and adventure to any culinary creation. You’re sure to delight any grill-master, cuisinier, or hash-slinger in your life!
