So what’s the big difference? Shrinking the sugar. By half, to be exact. Brittle Brothers was founded by two childhood friends who set out to change the way people thought about peanut brittle. It was John Spalding’s secret family recipe that sparked the business in 2006, and John still runs the show today. He’s all about honoring traditions, but that doesn’t mean he can’t change a few things. The recipe is still centered around nuts, butter, and vanilla, but the sweet-nut ratio is all John.
