The Daily Crunch story starts in the early 2000s, when Diane Olney’s sister visited India and reported back on a best-kept health-food secret: sprouted almonds. Soaked in water long enough, almonds will begin to “sprout,” making them crunchier, easier to digest, and activating all their best nutrients. Not to mention, they’re delicious! It wasn’t long before Diane started sprouting almonds of her own and adding her own special twist: dehydrating them (rather than roasting) and flavoring them with delicious, all-natural ingredients. Diane loved the way they tasted and, even more, the way they made her feel.
After sharing her almonds with friends and family, it became clear that Diane had something special on her hands. With the help of her niece Laurel— a health-food enthusiast with deep corporate marketing experience— Daily Crunch Snacks was born. The family pair opened shop in March 2020, right before the pandemic struck, but that didn’t hold them back. You can find Daily Crunch in your favorite retailers all over the country, but they’re proud to call Nashville, TN home.
