It all started when Steve, father and farmer, decided to treat himself to a new toy: a CNC plasma cutter. He imagined using it to make his own parts and tools, but his daughter, Stephanie— a graphic designer and mom— saw an opportunity to bring her designs to life in metal. In a spark of father-daughter genius, Highland Ridge Rustics was born. Steve manages the farm by day and cuts metal on rainy days and weekends; Stephanie designs and manages the business from home while raising her family.
Highland Ridge Rustics is named for the family farm with the same name. Steve, Stephanie, and their families are all Tennessee born and raised, and Southern hospitality is a strong theme in their work. At Highland Ridge— both the farm and the business— family is everything, and everyone is considered family. Their tagline, “from our home to yours” brings their purpose into full focus.
