You won’t find spice blends this incredible on your grocery store shelves! JM Thomason’s nine perfectly balanced, intensely delicious spice blends are go-to kitchen staples in renowned Southern restaurants and local homes alike. Delivered in eye-catching tins designed by a local artist, these spices will add some character to your counters and make excellent keepsake gifts for the foodies in your life.
JM Thomason is a family company based in Mount Pleasant, TN, using globally sourced spices to create its signature flavor profiles. Since the business opened in 2013, only nine signature blends have met their high flavor standards. Let “Streamside Angler” or “Gaucho Espresso” spark your culinary imagination and take your favorite dishes to a whole new level.
Owner McKinley Thomason feels passionately about giving back to the hardworking Guatemalan farmers who grow, harvest, and dry the spices used in JM Thomason’s signature blends. The company partners with Heifer International, a global nonprofit organization, in support of several initiatives specifically for those farmers. One initiative, for example, provides farmers with nutmeg and allspice trees that not only bear crops, but also support vanilla and pepper vines and give shade for fragile coffee, cocoa, and cardamom plants.
We’re proud to carry all nine of JM Thomason’s spice blends, as well as a Southern Seasoning Variety Pack featuring three of their bestsellers: Hot Chicken Seasoning, Bourbon BBQ Seasoning, Chili Lime Seasoning. The Hot Chicken Seasoning is perfect for making your very own authentic Nashville hot chicken, but don’t stop there! Try it on ribs, a turkey burger, or some grilled seitan. The Chili Lime offers tangy heat to elevate tex mex flavors, and elevates the flavor on anything from shrimp to pork to street corn.
These tasty spices make thoughtful gifts for the foodies in your life. They’ll discover new flavor blends and get a good-lookin’ storage tin to display and reuse long after the seasoning is gone. Gift your hostess, your friend, or your grill master and get ready to reap the rewards the next time they invite you over for dinner.
