Laura Lea Bryant is a Nashville Native who found herself living unhappily in New York for several years after college. Tied to a corporate job she didn’t love and a party-centered lifestyle that caused anxiety and health issues, she made a full 180-degree change. Building on her own family’s kitchen traditions, she began exploring the city’s farmer’s markets and browsing cookbook sections of bookstores to come up with new, nutritious recipes to fuel the healthier life she wanted to live. Inspired by the mind-body change she felt, Laura Lea quit her job to enroll in a holistic cooking program and ultimately returned home to Nashville to start her own business in 2013. Today, LLbalanced.com and its social media channels are home to a thriving community of people from around the globe who are drawn to Laura Lea’s joyful, down-to-earth approach to cooking for abundant mental and physical health.
