Fans of Music City Sauce’s signature Sweet Heat sauce will tell you: Don’t just dab, DUNK! This famous hot sauce has gained a cult-like following in Music City foodie circles for its touch of sweet with the perfect amount of heat. It’ll quickly become your go-to for everything from dressing up wings to adding some zing to your eggs and sandwiches.
Not a heat fan? No worries. Sweet Heat isn’t the make-you-cry kind of spicy, so even those with cautious spice palates can toss, splash, and drizzle to their heart’s content. A tasty, balanced combination of sweet bell peppers, savory garlic, hot red jalapenos, and arbol chiles with a dash of brown sugar and honey, this sauce complements just about anything you can sling on a plate. The sauce’s creator recommends pairing Sweet Heat with avocado toast or anything on the grill, but enthusiastic fans can be found dousing their pizza, fries, burgers, and more with this Music City Sauce.
Chef Alex Grainger is the genius behind Sweet Heat, the first sauce from his Music City Sauce company. He dreamt up this perfect little condiment to compliment the delectable pastries he was making at Little Moskos, the gluten-free Nashville Bakery he owns and operates with his wife, Lauren Moskovitz. It’s a local gem and one of our favorite stops for sandwiches and pastries. As soon as Sweet Heat hit the tables, bakery customers skipped the polite dips and started splashing this sauce all over everything, singing the praises of the rare sauce that can bring out the best flavors in everything without overpowering the dish. One thing led to another, and Alex started bottling and selling his magical creation.
Sweet Heat is a must for any adventurous cook, kitchen newbie, or grill master… or even the takeout connoisseur in your life. Want to introduce them to their new secret ingredient?
