Rachel’s signature style is elegant but understated, earthy and modern in rich neutrals and pops of color. Her devoted followers collect matching place settings one (or two!) at a time, or mix and match individual pieces to build a one-of-a-kind collection unique to their personal tastes.
Potter Rachel Vandivort graduated from Belmont University with a degree in studio art in 2015. As the artist, maker, and business owner behind RV Pottery, Rachael holds a degree in studio art from Belmont University in Nashville. She makes and fires all of her pottery in her home studio in quiet Dickson, TN, just outside of the Music City hustle and bustle. Rachel is passionate about finding the intersection of beauty and functionality in her art, creating sturdy pieces made for everyday life that communicate her distinct, elegant style.
Rachel has gained quite a following in her short time in business, even partnering with Edible Nashville to create unique plates and bowls for their community farm dinners. These dinners are available to the entire greater Nashville community and feature beautiful meals made from fresh, organic food from local Tennessee farms.
A piece of RV Pottery makes a thoughtful shower gift for newlyweds or a housewarming surprise for new neighbors. Load one of Rachel’s signature platters with your favorite cheeses and chocolates to delight your favorite hostess, or elevate your contribution to your next potluck party. No matter how you use it, RV Pottery makes the everyday special in style.

If you’ve spent any time in Music City, it seems the Spirit of Nashville posters and prints pop up just about everywhere, from restaurant walls and corporate lobbies to homes in every neighborhood in town. The Spirit of Nashville brand has become synonymous with the “it” city itself, serving as its unofficial calling card and celebrating Nashville’s diverse music history, arts culture, architecture, cuisine, and iconic attractions.
