Husband and wife duo Klanci and Evan Gauthier started Tenn Prairie so they could work together as they raised their two boys. Driven by the goal of creating a balanced life and creating beautiful, functional things, Klanci left her high-speed life as a Chicago lawyer and moved with her family to Tennessee.
Klanci and Evan make their wares on their back porch and sell them at local farmer’s markets, craft fairs, and flea markets in and around Nashville, TN. Since starting their business in 2019, the brand has gained a healthy following; today, you can find Tenn Prairie treasures in select shops across the country. To the Gauthiers, investing time in their craftsmanship is all about showing their young sons that they have the freedom to do what they want and go after their goals.
Tenn Prairie is all about blending the durable and the beautiful; combining edgy and elegant. We love their geometric concrete match holders, made of concrete and finished in pops of color and metallic hues.
