Though the special shapes and colors get all the attention these days, the Pasta Shoppe was built to create downright good-quality pasta. Mixing everything in small batches and using only 100% durum semolina, organic flours, all-natural vegetable powders and natural herbs, your macaroni bake or chicken spaghetti will be as fresh and delicious as it is fun and funky.
Casey and John Aron, founders of the Pasta Shoppe, first visited Italy in 1992 for their honeymoon. They fell head over heels with the quality and texture of fresh, Italian pasta and knew they wanted to bring a taste of the Mediterranean back home with them to Nashville, Tennessee. They returned to Italy two years later to learn everything they needed to know to make the best quality and best tasting pasta stateside.
Inspired by the “boutique” pasta manufacturing plants they toured in Italy, The Pasta Shoppe uses Italian pasta-making machines and crafts all of their noodles in small batches. Despite huge growth over the past couple of decades, The Pasta Shoppe has stayed true to its original, family-friendly personality as they focus on developing fun new shapes to add some extra smiles at the dinner table.
We love serving “On the Run” pasta to carb up before a half marathon, “American Pride” for a summer noodle salad, or “Happy Birthday” for a special celebration. Whether you’re charming your own dinner guests or treating your favorite foodie, The Pasta Shoppe is your go-to for a gift with a personal touch.
